The marketing expert of CPSBB, Mr. Petar Kazakov, participated in the WORKSHOP on topic:"Addressing the experience in implementing measures to support organic farming with the new ambitious goals of the CAP 2021-2027" on September 1 2020, in hotel Izvor, Stara Zagora mineral baths.

In the event participated representatives of non-governmental organizations, government agencies, academic community and organic farmers:  Mrs. Veselina Ralcheva – NGOs representative, Mrs. Albena Simeonova – NGOs representative, Dr. Neli Grozeva – deputy rector of Trakia University, Mr. Stoilko Apostolov – NGOs representative, Dr. Tsvetanka Dintcheva – Maritsa Vegetable Crops Research Institute Plovdiv, Mr. Hristo Valov – State Fund Agriculture, Mr. Vladimir Vladimirov – Varna Economic Development Agency, Mr. Gancho Ganchev - National Agricultural Advisory Service, Mrs. Tanya Georgieva – National Rural Network, and other.

Main goals of the meeting were to mobilize stakeholders in the thematic work to create conditions for mutual exchange of experience, knowledge and information between the members to identify what partnerships, communication links and new mechanisms would help to overcome the challenges on the topic; to identify good and bad practices CAP 2021 – 2027 to support farmers and ensure Europe’s food security, on the basis of which to generate new solutions and proposals; to receive feedback on the topic from a wide range of stakeholders; obtaining guidance from stakeholders to reduce the administrative burden in organic farming

Mr. Kazakov presented the latest achievements of CPSBB and invited the participants of the workshop to the International Conference of Plant Systems Biology and Biotechnology 2021 (ICPSBB 2021), organized by CPSBB. The participants were impressed by the progress of CPSBB and expressed interest in participating in the upcoming ICPSBB which will be held on 14 – 17 June 2021.
