Dr. Rainer Hoefgen, Research Coordinator of MPG, and Ms. Claudia Tagge, Head of the Administration of MPG, visited the CPSBB on April 16th 2019.

The main objective of the meeting was the advanced German partner to provide administrative support and support with laboratory equipment to the CPSBB. The CPSBB administrative personnel, lead by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vesela Kazashka, had the opportunity to meet and exchange experience with the Head of MPG’s Administration – Ms. Claudia Tagge. The CPSBB Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tsanko Gechev, in turn, had fruitful discussions with the MPG’s Research Coordinator Dr. Rainer Hoefgen regarding the science conducted by CPSBB and MPG in the frame of the PlantaSYST project, as well as discussions about diversifying and maximizing the collaboration between the two institutes. One of the outcomes was agreeing to intensify the staff exchange and the organization of mutual training events such as courses and workshops. Another outcome was arranging a donation of high quality laboratory equipment from MPG Potsdam-Golm to CPSBB Plovdiv.
