European Researchers’ Night 2018, CPSBB and MVCRI, Plovdiv

September 28, 2018
The European Scientists’ Night has become a symbolic event and a regular meeting over the years, to which scientists from different European Union Member States present their achievements and challenges to the general public within one day. Its primary purpose is to popularise science among children, students, and young researchers.
The event for the year 2018 was organised by CPSBB (Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vesela Kazashka) and MVCRI (Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dimitrina Kostova) on September 28, with the support of the European Commission as a part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions, funded under the Horizon 2020 programme (projects K-Trio3 and REFRESH). It took place on the premises of the Center of Plant Systems Biology and Biotechnology (CPSBB) and the “Maritza” Vegetable Crops Research Institute (MVCRI). CPSBB employees participated in the preparation, organisation and realisation of the event.
The European Scientists’ Night began with a presentation of the projects of CPSBB – PlantaSYST and RESIST. The guests had the opportunity to get many information materials about those projects.
